Eric has been working at Wix for six months as a Spanish UX writer, focusing on the localization of Wix products and apps for the Spanish market. He writes for all of Latin America and Spain, as well as Spanish-speaking users in the US – 40% of Spanish Wix users are in the US.

An organizational psychologist by profession, Eric was born in Argentina and lived in Chile for many years before moving to Israel over a year ago. “It comes in handy to know different types of slang and dialect for each country,” he says.

He joined Wix during the pandemic, so he worked hybrid from the get-go – no more than three days a week in the office. Having anywell is a huge plus for him. “It’s not only about salary. I look at the benefits, and Wix has the best benefits out there. The company invests in gifts, food, events, and the people who have anywell are really privileged.”

Eric prefers not to work from home, so he often combines two anywell locations during his 8-hour workday. For example, he spends his morning in one location where he has breakfast and then tries another location for lunch and afternoon work. “I’m learning Hebrew at the anywell locations. I’ve learned Hebrew words for everything in a restaurant,” he chuckles.

Top reasons for loving the anywell experience

“Anywell has changed my quality of life. I don’t have a comfortable place to work from home, and it’s really nice to go to a great location with a strong internet connection and good service. The fact that it includes food is a huge benefit for me.
I’ve used anywell every week since it’s been offered – except when I had Covid and had to quarantine. People in hi-tech tend to take things for granted, but I come from South America, and I know it isn’t always like that. I really appreciate having this option.”

Favorite anywell location

Eric’s main hangout is Timothy. It’s close to his house, has excellent service and everyone at Timothy knows Eric by name. He loves their breakfasts, especially the lentil frittata and the amazing orange juice.

If he’s looking to combine two locations, Streets is also a preferred option due to its central location and proximity to other anywell locations. The amazing salmon filet is a plus too!
